Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team at Erskine Park. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical fitting works, with a focus on maintaining machinery and equipment. This role will primarily involve shift cover duties, including chain replacement, pneumatics, hydraulics, and various other tasks within the general mechanical maintenance sector.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks to ensure machinery and equipment operate efficiently.
- Perform mechanical fitting works including chain replacement, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and carry out repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately and promptly.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to optimize maintenance processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter or similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with expertise in pneumatics, hydraulics, and general mechanical maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and cover shifts as needed.
- TFN or PTY status.
- Full-time or casual availability.
