Hunter Region Administration - Support Casual Employment Applications close 30/05/2024This is a casual position - 8-30 hours per week to allow room for sick cover and holiday cover.
We are a small by busy General Practice based in Morpeth. We are a close knit team with 4 GPs, 2 experienced nursing staff and a dedicated administration team.
We have a relaxed working environment with a reputation for our professionalism and compassion.
This is a casual position - 8-30 hours per week to allow room for sick cover and holiday cover.
Shifts vary from Monday - Friday 8am to 6:30pm with Saturday cover as needed.
We use Best Practice Medical Software.
Requirements
Minimum 12months experience in medical reception
Minimum 12moths experience using Best Practice
ability to multi task and time management
ability to be flexible with working hours
Exceptional communication skills
exception work ethic and the want to be a part of a team
reliability and punctuality
Professional customer service
Qualification needed
minimum CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain
Duties
General reception and administrative tasks
Professional Phone and Written mannerism
Managing appointments, cancellations and rescheduling.
Medicare and patient Billing and batching
Use of Tyro Systems
Assisting patient arrival and departures as needed with utmost professionalism and courtesy
Maintaining Patient confidentiality and privacy at all times
Data Entry
Maintaining WHS as a team
Open/Close of surgery
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $29.96 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Experience:
- Medical Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
