About the role We are looking for a Security Operations Administrator to monitor, administer, maintain, manage, and advise on all security aspects and applications for a Defence stand-alone network. About you Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Administer and maintain the applications within the environment related to cyber security.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and Build Instruction for applicable applications in the network environment.
  • Assist with the development of project security documentation.
  • Maintain and develop technical expertise in the relevant areas of network technologies.
  • Develop, maintain, or assist with design documentation where required.
  • Ensures that all identified breaches in security are promptly and thoroughly investigated and that any system changes required to maintain security are implemented.
  • Conduct work in accordance with the Agile Methodology, including maintaining JIRA and participating in stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning and retrospectives.
Requirements:
  • Significant Defence experience and/or Network Security Operations experience will be held in high regard.
  • Experience in maintaining security applications in a network environment.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, communicate effectively with technical leads & project management and meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to conduct research, as well as rapidly learn new concepts and tasks, with a view of improving technical knowledge and skills.
  • 5 to 10 years’ network experience in industry and Defence
  • Minimum NV2 clearance.
