Job Description

MedHealth are seeking a project manager, someone with a high level of initiative, a great communicator and collaborator, and a professional can-do approach, to join our team.

Reporting to the General Manager – MedHealth Program Office the new role will:

  • Support the set-up and execution of the MedHealth Program Office, an enterprise level program office and Centre of Excellence for project management.
  • Manage the delivery of key value project(s) applying our project management methodologies.
  • Deliver a high standard of project governance.

Qualifications

  • Project management qualifications and certification are highly desirable.
  • 5+ years' experience in the successful project management and delivery of ICT-related projects.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in relevant field or extensive experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a similar role
  • Experience within Health, Government and Employment services highly regarded
  • Agile project delivery and related tools are highly desirable: - Monday and JIRA.

Additional Information

  • Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation to successful completion, ensuring all project objectives are met within the defined scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Deliver projects and work with teams that may use a hybrid Waterfall and Agile methodology.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, deliverables, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Develop appropriate level project plans, including project scope, schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate and communicate project activities, progress, and key milestones to stakeholders and senior management, ensuring effective and timely reporting.
  • Manage project teams, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure project deliverables are met and team members are motivated and engaged.
  • Proactively identify and address project risks and issues, implementing mitigation plans to minimize potential impacts on project timelines and outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving process enhancements and best practices to optimize project delivery and overall organizational efficiency.
  • Support the building of capability and driving the maturity of the Program Office through projects and our Centre of Excellence.

A bit about you:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, successfully delivering complex projects with a focus on ICT projects.
  • Strong project management skills, including project planning, risk management, resource allocation, and budget control.
  • Ability to deliver Waterfall / Prince2 / Agile projects and often a Hybrid combination of both.
  • Excellent leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively managing project teams and driving high-performance results.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to solve problems and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
