About The Role

The NSW/ACT Infrastructure business is currently seeking a Document Controller based in the John Holland Pyrmont office. This role will support the BU from a Pre-Contract/Tendering perspective and also support projects through the launch phase where required.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include

  • Implement and manage the document control system and processes for the tender phase including data room administration.
  • Register, distribute, and track all tender documentation to ensure timely access for all parties
  • Maintain an organised filing system for tender documents, ensuring accessibility for the bid team.
  • Adapt emerging technologies including AI assisted search and analytics to enhance bid team capability and productivity.
  • Update and maintain document revisions, identify any issues with registered documents, record these issues diligently, and communicate them effectively to the relevant parties for resolution.
  • Coordinate the workflow for reviews and oversee the collation, issuance, and receipt of documents in accordance with project requirements for the development, review, and approval of design documentation and other related procedures and records.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller or similar role, with additional experience in administrative duties, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Proficient with document control and procurement software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of the tender and procurement processes within the construction industry.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration or Information Management is desirable
