This is a maternity leave contract from 6th of May to 20th of October 2024.
The Centre
Every day is an opportunity for discovery and growth at Brassall, our 74-place centre which is rated exceeding in the National Quality Standard. With a range of exciting, resource-rich environments including a spacious outdoor space, a communal garden, natural play structures and a range of age-specific ateliers, children are encouraged to explore and learn. Located close to public transport and shopping precincts, Brassall is perfectly situated for children to explore their local shops and community.
The Opportunity
Working closely with your fellow Educators and Centre Manager, you will enjoy;
- Developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.
- Developing and implementing an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.
- Documenting and sharing with families in their children’s learning and development.
- Actively contributing to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum.
- Professional learning and development programs, career pathways, and a truly collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
To be considered, you will have:
- A completed Certificate III and/or Diploma in Children’s Services (or working towards).
- Prior experience in long day-care (desirable).
- Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF.
- Current Working with Children’s Check.
- And just a passion to work in the childcare industry!
