Glascott Landscape and Civil is a landscape construction company with over 35 years' experience. We specialise in large scale landscape and civil construction projects for builders, government bodies, developers, architects and contractors across NSW, the ACT, VIC and QLD.

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join our team. The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering and construction, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work effectively with a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, design, construction, and maintenance
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that work is completed according to specifications
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure that work is being performed to the required standards
  • Prepare and submit progress reports, change orders, and other project documentation as required
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction project management
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and construction practices
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
