ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an excellent opportunity for an Operations Excellence Specialist based in Erskine Park, NSW. This role will be responsible for driving operational excellence and developing, implementing, and leading projects aimed at improving safety, accuracy, service, productivity, throughput and cost across DC Operations & the broader Supply Chain.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Identify, prioritise, and deliver on efficiency improvement opportunities in the Distribution Centre’s.
- Deliver key milestones of the Supply Chain strategy and identify further opportunities that will drive operational excellence.
- Work with key stakeholders to optimised business processes towards a LEAN structure that is consistent across the network and add value to the business through increased DC operational efficiency.
- Develop a continuous Improvement Culture to leverage the Operational Habits program and Continuous Improvement training programs.
- Defines target service standards for the operation and identifies improvements to deliver to standards.
- Deliver, manage, and input into the Supply Chain budget.
- Rolling out Continuous Improvement programs
ABOUT YOU
You will be a data, process and business improvement enthusiast who takes an analytical approach to problem solving. You will have dynamic people and communications skills, which will help building strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
Your extensive and diverse skillset will include:
- Previous experience in rolling out continuous improvement program.
- Continuous Improvement / LEAN project management experience.
- Previous experience in a DC Operations, Supply Chain and/or Logistics role.
- Relationship management and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated experience in change management.
- Data analysis and reporting skills.
- Financial and Budget Management experience.
- Project Management experience.
- Leadership, Development and Coaching experience.
- Relevant qualifications /certifications in supply chain and / or industry experience.
· Excellent end to end knowledge of Supply Chain Operations desirable.
