The Company
Our client is a leading global manufacturer of a wide range of industrial capital equipment solutions. They are well-known and established across the Australian and global markets and have benchmarked the industry for innovation, quality, reliability and support. They carry more than 139 years’ experience and are a premier employer with low staff turnover. Currently they are looking to employ a Sales Director.
The Opportunity
Your role will be to develop, manage and implement an effective sales strategy that is to be executed through respective sales managers, executive sales / BDM’s and a field-sales team. You will analyse and assess market conditions, opportunities and dealer network relationships to identify an effective market strategy. The strategy will encompass a planned and highly effective approach to continue the overall growth and expansion targets through end-user, corporate and SME opportunities. You will work closely with the sales team and stakeholders (internally and externally) across the business including service, marketing, operations and logistics to ensure strong collaboration across each division and their respective objectives/requirements and goals.
You
  • Exceptional sales leadership experience leading, motivating and inspiring a national team.
  • Capital equipment or sales solutions with long-term sales cycles (6-12 months)
  • Strong B2B sales leadership experience.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills (external clients and internal stakeholders)
  • Results focused and exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic, operational, inspirational, motivating and professional!
  • Seeking a long-term career path.
The Rewards

Your salary package includes a lucrative base salary of $190K - $250K + super, car allowance + bonus/commission. You will receive formal training across the products/technology, their internal systems as well as further opportunities to pursue professional / career training. You will be part of the senior leadership team and will also get further opportunities to develop and advance internally.
