Rubix Solutions are currently seeking an experienced Technical Analyst (Baseline/NV1) for a long term defence programme
Rubix Solutions has brought an excellent opportunity for a Technical Analyst role, initial 12-month contract engagement with DXC onsite for ATO. These roles can be based in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne & Perth.This role does require an active AGSVA baseline or NV1 clearance at a minimum . Consultants that do not hold this minimum requirement will not be considered. This role will work with a Federal government client and will require some interstate travel.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and document business processes and workflows.
- Analyze and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Work closely with technical teams, including software developers, system architects, and quality assurance engineers, to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between business and technical teams, ensuring clear understanding of requirements, constraints, and dependencies.
- Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments to evaluate proposed solutions and identify potential risks and challenges.
- Develop and maintain business process models, data models, and system diagrams to support solution design and implementation.
- Define acceptance criteria and perform user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Provide guidance and support to stakeholders during system implementation, including training, user documentation, and change management activities.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status and risks.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in business analysis and technology, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or SQL allows Technical Analysts to understand and manipulate data, automate tasks, and work closely with developers to implement technical solutions.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques, such as Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries like Pandas and Matplotlib
- Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall enables Technical Analysts to collaborate effectively with development teams, prioritize requirements, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
