Assist with food prep and serve residents at this aged care facility in North Sydney
Collar Group are looking for a Catering Assistant for one of our client's aged care facilities in North Sydney. You will be joining a small, close-knit team at this 110 bed facility.The Role:
Wednesday - Sunday - 6:30am - 2:00pm
Monday, Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday - 6:30am - 2:00pm
Shifts are also available:
Weekdays
3:00pm - 7:30pm
4:00pm - 7:30pm
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting with food preparation
- Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
- Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
- Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
- Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
- Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
- Assisting the broader team as required
- Prepare and present texture modified foods
- Australian Citizen or Resident with full work rights
- Previous experience in aged care (preferred)
- Previous experience assisting in kitchens, food prep and/or customer service
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Pride in personal appearance and hygiene
