The Swimpool Team has been cleaning pools for over 40 years, Our Service Technicians are SPASA trained and are up to date with the latest technology. We specialize in offering many options of pool heating – Gas, Heat Pumps, Solar and Electric.
At this stage we are currently looking of an experienced Electronic Equipment Technician to join our services team, being the responsible for installations, maintenance and repairs electronic equipment and systems.
Position Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Carry out diagnosis and correct or replace malfunctioning pool
• Install and repairs electronic systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of pool equi
• Ability to follow electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment for the operation and maintenance of pools.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding of the end to end procedures of Pool electric equipment from assembling, testing and calibration and installation.
• Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus, using test equipment, and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables, using hand too
• Manage stocks of supplies and equipme
• Ability to work according to Health Safety policy and guideline
• Repair pool heaters, filters, pumps and motors associated with pool system
• Analyse pool cleaning systems and maintain inventory of chemicals, supplies and parts as neede
• Provide all aspects of pool plumbing from new homeowner pool builds to re-plumbing the tired old pool equipment/relocation and upgrade
• Organize repairs on all pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, lighting, and timers.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role.
• Certificate III or higher qualification in Electronics or a related field.
• Strong technical proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electronic systems and components.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $90,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
