William Buck’s growth in the software technology and advanced manufacturing space has created an exciting opportunity for a Senior / Supervisor to join our growing R & D team.
Our clients are innovators and disruptors in the cutting-edge areas of Software-As-A-Service, Machine Learning/AI, Internet-of-Things, data, mobile applications and robotics. Their ability to disrupt the status-quo and build new industry-transforming technologies depends on receiving savvy, quality advice on their R&D tax incentive claims and other government grants.
A bit about you:
We are looking for experienced Supervisor / Manager who is degree qualified in the field of Science, Engineering or Accounting and has previous experience within a professional services or boutique R&D advisory firm.
You will have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills as well as an ability to devise strategies and plan ahead.
In this role, you will be an important member of a team that prides itself as a “one-stop shop” for professional advice to software and hardware technology companies.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Conduct project scoping interviews to identify eligible R&D projects;
- Prepare R&D Tax Incentive applications and eligible expenditure calculations;
- Advise on strategies to optimise eligibility and maximise R&D Tax Incentive claims under the current regulatory environment;
- Advise on documentation requirements and establish documentation procedures within existing client systems;
- Work directly with clients’ technical and finance staff;
- Stay on top of legislative developments and case law; and
- Contribute to business development initiatives including writing online articles and attending industry events.
