Role - Ensure the stable operation of our Linux/Windows server.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure
- Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
- Provide L1 and L2 level support
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
- Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux based environments.
- Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g.,Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Ruby, NGINX)
- Manage DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, Customer Care Tools, and other value add services includes eSIM, eMAIL etc. Also responsible for Network Perforce Reporting and Automation Platforms includes Atlas, Athena, Netconfig, NSO, RPKI etc.
- Solid Cloud experience, preferably in AWS
- Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box)
- Experience with monitoring systems
Technologies:
- Linux / Redhat operation systems (CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.).
- VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, or KVM
- vulnerability scanning tools like Nessus, OpenVAS, or Qualys
- Experience with automation software (e.g., Puppet, cfengine, Chef)
- Solid scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python)
- Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
- Restful API / web services
- K8, Rancher. RedHat Products (OpenShift, AAP, PAM)
- DevOps tools (Argo CD, Helm Charts, Gitlab, AWX etc.)
- Apps/Products like Apigee, Harbor, Longhorn, Fortify, Prisma, SonarQube etc.
- Additional languages include Typescript, NodeJS and Rust (for Smart Voice).
