With a robust portfolio catering to major tier-one companies and government agencies, Endacom is seeking an adept and motivated HSEQ Coordinator/Manager to join our esteemed team. The ideal candidate will spearhead our commitment to maintaining a high-performance HSEQ culture, fostering accountability, and driving engagement across our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and encourage a healthy safety culture through exemplary leadership.
- Utilize experience within an established IMS framework, implementing it within both new and existing operational facilities.
- Conduct safety, quality, and environmental inspections across project sites, company headquarters, and associated divisions.
- Ensure consistent site setup procedures across all projects through meticulous inspection and monitoring.
- Aid staff, site teams, and contractors across various sectors (civil, commercial) in compliance with pertinent legislation, standards, and contractual obligations.
- Strategically plan, coordinate, and manage safety aspects related to traffic management, risk assessment, and hazardous materials, liaising effectively with project managers, supervisors, and engineers.
- Conduct environmental and quality assessments, site visits, and audits to evaluate performance and identify areas for enhancement.
- Promptly report incidents, non-conformances, near misses, and actively participate in incident investigations as necessary.
- Support the Management team in delivering the Safety Management System, including policy implementation and practice adherence.
- Serve as the company's representative on all matters pertaining to Workplace Health and
Safety (WHS).
- Proactively assist work teams in implementing and embedding health and safety work plans.
- Complete required monthly reporting, including audits, and stay updated on legislative changes, continuously improving policies and procedures.
- Monitor organizational compliance with policies and procedures.
- Offer comprehensive Workplace Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality guidance to the
Senior Management Team and Staff.
- Provide support in the Assurance and Audit role within the company.
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and monitoring the HSEQ Plan, objectives, and targets.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Minimum Certification IV in workplace safety.
- Profound knowledge of HSEQ processes and prior experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated unwavering commitment to health and safety.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capacity to operate independently in a dynamic office environment.
- Strong problem-solving acumen.
- Relevant industry experience, particularly in Commercial and Civil Construction, would be highly advantageous.
- Valid driver's license and National Construction General Induction Card (recognized across all states).
