Their team multidisciplinary, working across NSW and QLD and is comprised of compassionate allied and mental health professionals dedicated to delivering evidence-based interventions and fostering a supportive environment for growth and healing.

Your new leadership role:

  • This organisation is seeking an impactful leader to become a key part of a close-knit and dedicated team who are passionate about improving the lives of children, adolescents and adults!
    Lead and inspire a team of mental health professionals to deliver exceptional care to clients.
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to ensure adherence to ethical standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and promote integrated care.
  • Develop and implement innovative programs to meet the evolving needs of the hunter community.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development among team members.
  • Support patients in developing independence and autonomy. This might involve setting achievable goals, encouraging decision-making, and fostering a sense of responsibility.
  • You will create assessment reports and have the capacity to document clinical findings effectively.
  • Have the opportunity to run group programs, workshops and training for staff.
  • Work with early years educators, schoolteachers, community services professionals in a collaborative way
  • Participate in regular team meetings, supervision and team learning days.
  • Write and develop information and resources for use by clinicians, parents, professionals and children/young people.

Who they are looking for?
To apply for the role, we would like you to have:

  • Tertiary level qualification in Psychology- Registered or Clinical Psychologist
  • FULL AHPRA registration - Registered or Clinical Psychologist
  • Extensive clinical experience, with a proven track record of success in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for supporting the well-being of others and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of care.
  • Eligibility to provide NDIS and Medicare services
  • Experience in or a passion for working with children, youth, families and adults.
  • A strong commitment to your own learning and growth as well as supporting staff development.
