Description:
- Bachelor's degree in Education (Master's degree in a related field would be advantageous)
- Experience working in a primary school setting in a leadership, classroom or student support role
- Strong understanding of pedagogy and methodologies that underpin student wellbeing and learning diversity practices
- Capacity to collect and interpret data to inform whole-school and classroom teaching practices
- Ability to lead school improvement initiatives utilising sound change management processes
- Understanding of the intervention framework, inclusive practices, diverse learning needs and strategies to support students with disabilities, learning difficulties, or English as a Second Language (ESL)
- Well-developed organisational, planning and coordination skills including the ability to prioritise tasks and handle multiple demands effectively and efficiently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, staff and the wider community
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide leadership in the area of student wellbeing and diversity
- A commitment to the ethos, values and mission of Catholic education
Candidates must have:
- Relevant teaching qualifications
- VIT registration
- Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School
- Understanding of compliance requirements of Child Safety standards, policies and legal responsibilities concerning the safety, care and wellbeing of all students.
