We provide clinical services that prioritise the prevention, diagnosis and therapeutic management of communication and swallowing disorders to enhance the health and welfare of Central Queenslanders.

About the role:

Deliver direct high level speech pathology clinical care and clinical leadership to ensure high quality speech pathology care to adult and/or paediatric clients residing in Central Queensland in hospital and/or in the community.

About you:

To be successful in this role you must possess a tertiary degree in Speech Pathology and provide eligibility for practicing membership to Speech Pathology Australia.

  • High level of clinical experience, knowledge and skill in the delivery of clinical speech pathology services to adult and paediatric patients across the continuum with swallowing and communication needs.
  • Ability to provide high level speech pathology clinical services of a complex and varied nature.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in speech pathology and multidisciplinary teams and to provide clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors regarding service delivery and improvement opportunities.

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $152,776 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $62.75 - $67.53 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
