About the role
We have a 12-month parental leave contract for an Investor Relations (IR) Analyst. Reporting to the General Manager Investor Relations, the Investor Relations Analyst is responsible for supporting the implementation of Evolution’s investor relations strategy and ensuring consistent communications with shareholders, external analysts, and the investment community on behalf of Evolution, working closely with the General Manager IR and IR team.

The role operates within a small, dynamic team whose core focus is to support and deliver Evolution’s investor relations and targeting strategy.

Key result areas in this position include:
Demonstrate and live behaviours aligned with the Evolution Mining values (Safety, Accountability, Excellence, Respect) and commit to maintaining health, safety and security standards and principles, both within own workplace and through the identification of potential risks throughout Evolution.
Assisting with the drafting of key external announcements: Quarterly Reports, Half and Full Year results and related ASX releases. Preparing presentations to be delivered by senior management at investment conferences and financial results roadshows to the investment community, coverage analysts and media.
Assist with the preparation of the annual Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve release, exploration materials and production and financial targets released to the ASX to ensure compliance with the JORC code and ASX Listing Rules (including internal Competent Person sign off and compliance).
Coordination of conferences, roadshows, earnings conference calls, investor meetings and site visits alongside the organisation and delivery of the Company’s biennial Investor Day (next one June 2025) Monitor, update, and analyse consensus estimates sourced from the coverage analyst cohort - including the Visible Alpha database.
Assist in keeping strategic messaging current and relevant and supporting the communications team to keep the Company website up to date.
Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to monitor operational changes within the Company and develop investor relations messages based on these changes.
Review and summarise coverage analyst reports and models for senior management and Board, providing regular feedback to management regarding the investment community's perception of the Company.
Support the IR team in preparing responses to shareholder queries.

About you
To succeed in this role, you will be able to perform in a dynamic and challenging environment with demonstrated knowledge of the resources industry and relevant tertiary qualifications in Commerce or a relevant mining discipline (e.g. Geology, Engineering, Metallurgy).

It is important that you have or can demonstrate:
Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with a willingness to further develop these skills and develop expertise in other applications (e.g. Workiva).
An ability to understand data and reports utilising sufficient technical mining knowledge with an understanding of financial markets and demonstrable passion for investing.
Proven ability to prepare, analyse, profile and present data, in a structured and logical format, confident in communicating sensitive and complex financial information. You will be highly numerate with effective communication skills, able to develop concise messaging and actionable insights.
Strong analytical and report writing skills with solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
Able to quickly build rapport to support working relationships and effectively manage competing workflows.
Understanding of the JORC code or experience with drafting of geological images would be considered advantageous.
