With more than 15 years of experience, our client is a leader in building commercial projects from concept through to completion. Our client is established in South Sydney and delivers projects across Sydney, valued up to $4M.
Due to organic growth and their continued success, our client has an excellent opportunity for an experienced HSE Advisor to join their team on a part-time basis.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of health and safety plans
- Ensure legislation is adhered to
- Provide training & advice to team members and subcontractors
- Conduct reviews and risk analysis
- Manage and develop relationships with employees and stakeholders
- Incident investigation and reporting
- Minimum Cert IV in OH&S
- 2+ years in an HSE role within the construction industry
- Previous experience working on refurbishment/fit-out projects
- Previous experience working for a head contractor is essential
- Strong understanding of the latest OH&S legislation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines
- Excellent communication skills & problem-solving skills
