Coding Coach - Skill Samurai Castle Hill

The Skill Samurai Learning coach is responsible for;
◾ Understanding and executing procedures of the Skill Samurai franchise (e.g. opening, closing and learning centre presentation)
.◾ Preparation of classroom before lessons.
◾ Ability to lead a group of young children (ages 6-16).
◾ Communicate effectively with students, parents and other team members.
◾ Be able to explain Computer Science material effectively. Lesson Plans and training
provided.
◾ Delivering a high standard of care and education to all students
◾ Attend paid staff meetings and professional development (training).
Characteristics and qualifications
◾ Experience in, or a keen interest in coaching and teaching children.
◾ Ability to connect and communicate with parents on their child’s learning
◾ Accept direction, supervision and constructive criticism
◾ Ability to possess a high degree of professionalism
(Appearance, dress, communication)
◾ Ability to establish effective relationships with parents and children
◾ Have an understanding of computer science and the curriculum
◾ Able to multi-task
Hourly Rate: Misc. Award MA000104Above award rates offered to high performing
candidates.
Hours of Operation (as a guide): Mon - Friday 3pm to 8pm Sat 8am to 1pm and school holidays.
Working with Children Check required. This can be obtained if your are successful, you don't need it to apply.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $22.85 – $28.26 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
