Salary: $70k - $100k + super
Location: Sydney (Hybrid work - CBD office)
Start Date: ASAP - 4 weeks
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Business Analyst to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a background in consulting, preferably with experience at a Big 4 consulting firm, and possess strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a passion for problem-solving. The ideal Junior BA must have a strong grounding in the key aspects of Business Analysis (Project Life Cycle, Process Definition, Gathering Requirements etc).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough analysis of client business processes, systems, and data to identify key issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assisting senior consultants in developing and implementing strategic solutions to address client challenges and achieve business objectives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data, develop insights, and present findings to clients in a clear and concise manner.
- Supporting the development of project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
- Assisting in the preparation of client presentations, reports, and other deliverables to communicate analysis results, recommendations, and project updates.
- Providing ongoing support to clients by answering questions, addressing concerns, and helping to implement recommended solutions.
- Staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance knowledge and skills in business analysis and consulting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in consulting, preferably at a Big 4 consulting firm.
- Experience with ERP / CRM / HRIS related projects would be an advantage
- Not for profit / Aged Care / Health Care experience would be considered a distinct advantage
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyse large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and information to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical tools/software.
- Knowledge of business process modelling, data visualization, and project management methodologies is a plus.
