MAYDAY Recruitment are exciting to be partnering with one of the most recognised and established providers of premium funding products in Australia and New Zealand offering brokers reliable, personalised and flexible premium funding solutions.

As the Accounts / Settlements Manager you will be responisble for ensuring that all financial transaction related to Premium Funding approved loans are completed in an accurate and timely fashion.
This involves the settling of all loan premiums, brokers commissions and related activities daily while working cross functionally with key stakeholders.

The role:
  • Daily Transaction Banking Activities:
    • Import dishonours and post to Loan System
    • Check Direct Debits and credit card transactions ensuring accuracy, postings and dishonours
    • Import Bank statement, undertake reconciliations, allocations and postings
    • Reconciliations and postings (Bpay payments, Credit Cards, Transactional Banking cashflows)
    • Process any return credits & refund banking files
    • Manage loan system and banking actions to resolve payment issues
    • Daily Cashflow summary & cash forecast
  • Manage Insurance Premium and Broker commission payments.
    • Process, reconcile, bank files and remittances
  • Loan System (Odyssey) processing & support
    • Approve refunds and journals completed by the Customer Service and Credit teams
    • Check Direct Debits and credit cards have run correctly and post credit card dishonours
    • Manual payments in ANZ as required
    • Business Partnering: Customer Service Team, Credit Team, etc.
  • Consistently apply ethical and professional standards and practice in all circumstances to uphold Elantis reputation and brand
The ideal candidate
  • 5+ years’ experience in Accounts Manager / Settlement Office roles
  • Premium Funding experience beneficial
  • MS Office/ Excel & Banking Platform experience required
  • Skilled communicator with a strong attention to detail
  • Team Player and good problem solver
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities intraday
