About the Role:
Are you an experienced Rowing Coach looking for your next opportunity? Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of Rowers?

We're on the lookout for a dynamic First Rowing Coach to join our rowing crew in 2025! Commencing in July 2024, this role is responsible for contributing to the overall development of the Rowing program within the guidelines established by the Head of Rowing Development.

You will:
Partner with up with the Head of Rowing to brainstorm and bring to life exciting strategies, coaching innovations, and program enhancements for our rowing squad!
Champion and spread the word about the latest rowing techniques and lingo approved by the Rowing program, all as per the Head of Rowings' playbook.
Manage the First Rowing Crew with poise and efficiency
Keep track of our senior rowers' attendance

Requirements of the Role

Experience as a high level School or Club coach
Level 2 (or above) Rowing Accreditation
First Aid and CPR
Power Boat Licence
Victorian Drivers Licence
Excellent communication skills and an ability to work with students of varying abilities
An understanding and commitment to implement the Carey Positive Learner Attributes with students

A valid Employee Working with Children Check and current Anaphylaxis Accreditation are requirements of employment for this position.
