About the role

The Team Leader, Student Pathways (Admissions) provides their specialist knowledge and skills in the Student Pathways area to support the staff and coordinate the functions of the domestic admissions team. The Team Leader, Student Pathways provides expert advice in relation to admission, credit and enrolment for both commencing and continuing students to meet enquiry, application and enrolment targets. This Team Leader contributes to the continual improvement of student pathways processes to positively affect student outcomes; participates in projects as a subject matter expert, assists with planning, development and implementation of new and amended policies and procedures; ensures training and knowledge transfer for relevant processes is delivered and integrated with existing business processes; and ensures the delivery of high-level administrative services and support.


About you

To be successful in this role this Team Leader will lead a team of staff to achieve application, service and conversion objectives and performance targets using various complex corporate systems and resources. The incumbent will develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the University's course and unit offerings, entry pathways, admission and credit processes in order to participate in, and support all, recruitment and conversion activities of the area. The incumbent will provide superior analytical and administrative support on all aspects of the Student Pathways services and develop, implement and manage operational plans within a budget and will collaborate with a range of internal stakeholders to develop and implement sales strategies and maintain and monitor programs and initiatives.

About Student Pathways

The Student Pathways team at UNE is responsible for: prospective student relationship management; managing and administering domestic admissions and credit applications; student recruitment; and conversion activities for the University.
