The Role The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for the management of supplier relationships with direct responsibility for commercial, contractual and financial outcomes for the supplier relationships and projects. The role will ensure Resolution Life achieves optimal outcomes considering commercial risk, value, service delivery and service quality. Some of the things you will be accountable for include:
- Effectively develop and manage suppliers and/or portfolios on best practice sourcing standards.
- Develop, implement, and manage appropriate strategies and processes to ensure relationships with key suppliers deliver competitive solutions which will meet business objective.
- Identify opportunities, contribute to, support and implement programs which will reduce the operating costs and capital expenditure.
- Develop supplier management plans for particular suppliers, which supports strategies, and provide an effective platform for ongoing management.
- Maintain supplier relationships to ensure compliance with agreed contractual terms and business needs.
- Fulfil the role of senior commercial representative at supplier relationship and governance meetings.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and ability to prioritises their needs to obtain the right outcomes.
- Strong ability to influence and advise senior leaders.
- Strong operational execution experience and demonstrated focus on achieving business operational objectives.
- Strong diagnostics and problem solving capabilities.
- Bachelor degree, MCIPS or CIPS membership is desirable
