In this role, you'll:
Take responsibility for providing technical, environmental, contract, and coordination support in the development and delivery of a range of bridge projects in the region.
Work closely with the Project Manager and broader team and be involved in critical tasks to ensure the projects meet safety guidelines, timelines, quality, budget, scope, and client requirements.
Experience a diverse day from preparing project briefs to engaging with subcontractors and suppliers, preparing tenders, and more. This role extends to preparing environmental management plans, safety plans, reviewing relevant documentation from subcontractors, and ensuring that these are implemented/in action on live projects.
You’ll work with a great team that is collaborative, process driven and actively working toward the same project goals, deadlines, and deliverables.
This is a Fixed Term Fulltime role until 30/11/2025. It is ideally based out of the South Grafton office with occasional visits to sites throughout the Tenterfield Shire Council area.

About you
You are appropriately qualified or have proven relevant, professional experience in road or ideally bridge construction/maintenance.
You are a self-starter who can hit the ground running. You are able to think creatively to solve problems and find solutions. You’re flexible and proactive and use your initiative and organisational skills to get things done.
You have experience working on your own and in teams to tight deadlines and have a successful track record in delivering great customer experience outcomes.
You use your excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to proactively build strong relationships with an array of internal and external stakeholders.
Project management skills and knowledge of road maintenance and construction will be highly regarded as will any qualifications in Safety, Environment and/or Quality.
You hold a current unrestricted NSW Motor Vehicle driver’s licence.
You may be required to work outside normal working hours or to travel on occasion.
