Capability Life Cycle Management (CLCM)
Â

The CLCM is integrated into the System Program Office (SPO) and contracted to deliver through-life asset management of Products being supported (PBS). The CLCM performs asset, sustainment and engineering functions to optimise availability and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and minimise risk through life of the PBS. The CLCM works collaboratively via the SPO with Regional Maintenance Centreâs (RMC) to plan maintenance activities and installation of capability upgrades. The CLCM works collaboratively via the SPO with the Design Services Contract (DSC) to plan and execute engineering changes and services. The CLCM delivers functions against the contract scope across the Asset Class Enterprise to support Defence Maritime Capability.


The Opportunity:

The Workforce Development Coordinator will facilitate and coordinate activities for developing the current and future ACS CLCM workforce. Additionally, the Workforce Development Coordinator will routinely engage with Australian Industry and academic bodies for skills acquisition and ensure consistent training programs across the CLCM Enterprise.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for facilitating and coordinating activities related to the development of the current and future ACS CLCM Workforce.
  • Responsible for facilitating and coordinating activities with Australian Industry and academic bodies to actively gain and retain the necessary skills.
  • Responsible to the Enterprise Development Manager for provision of workforce development activities within the ACS CLCM Contract.
  • Engage education and academic providers such as Universities and TAFEs to support development of industry and Australian workforce skills.
  • Engage with Government agencies at all levels to facilitate information exchanges to support our AIC objectives and access available support.
  • Support the conduct of skills uplift and cross-skilling across the ACS Enterprise.


As the ideal candidate you will bring:


Essential:

  • Possess a relevant recognised tertiary qualification in Business, human resources or similar, or demonstrate relevant professional experience.
  • Requires 5+ years of relevant experience in:
    • Workforce development and training;
    • Commercial / Business Development;
    • Procurement / Supply Chain Management.
    • Demonstrated strength in written and oral communications (essential)
    • Strong relationship skills and stakeholder management experience across all levels of an enterprise


Desirable:

  • Experience in a Defence or related technical industry.
  • Experience with the development of business cases and supporting artefacts.
  • Expertise in computing (proficient in Word, Excel, MS Project and database maintenance and reporting)


All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Baseline Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding a Baseline Clearance or above should apply.
