Project Management Specialist

Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Management Specialist to work collaboratively across the organisation and deliver change created by security projects that impact process, people and systems. You will assist/report to the Security Engineering Manager, within a defined operating structure, to perform day-to-day tasks associated with the provision of project management and project administration support. This is a 24 month fixed term contract. You will also amongst other objectives:

• Plan and direct all aspects of work for project support to ensure it delivers outcomes necessary to realise benefits as agreed by the project sponsor under the direction of project/program managers.
• Proactively support and apply a structured project management approach and methodology, ensuring adherence to internal frameworks, processes and practices to effectively manage all aspects of the project.
• Maintain the project governance reporting requirements.
• Support maintenance of work plans, schedules, project estimates and resource plans.
• Identify risks/issues from an administrative perspective, develop plans to mitigate/resolve and implement these in a timely manner, measuring effectiveness.
• Manage the procurement processes for projects.
• Facilitation of team project planning sessions.
• Preparing presentation packs for Executive meetings.

Your background We are looking for an Project Management Specialist with at least 3 years of demonstrated project coordination/management experience. Government or financial services experience is desirable but not essential.
