Responsibilities
About the Role
- Transcription of dictation
- Preparation of correspondence and court documents
- Preparing briefs to counsel
- File management including filing;
- Diary management;
- Liaising with clients;
- Following up on requests for medical reports from doctors and other experts;
- Preparing completed matters for archiving;
- General administration duties.
- 2+ years experience in a legal assistant or similar administrative role within a legal environment.
- Previous personal injury experience is essential (either plaintiff or defendant experience)
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
- An ability to manage time efficiently and work to deadlines is essential.
