ROLE OVERVIEW
Committee members support the Manager to uphold the objectives and values of the organisation. Members give time and energy to their committee duties and act with integrity, ensuring that all decisions are carried out effectively and taken in the best interests of the organisation.
The committee play an integral part in the development, progress and compliance of the House, and ensure everything is running smoothly behind the scenes. Our committee are involved in the major decisions relating to the strategic planning for Holden Street.
KEY ATTRIBUTES
- We seek people keen to learn or with an ability to work cooperatively with a Committee of Governance in order to support the governance requirements of the house.
- Backgrounds in Community Development, Legal, Marketing, Communications, Local Business and/or experience with DGR are highly desireable.
TIME COMMITMENT
The Committee meets on the 3rd Tuesday night of the month from 6.30pm - 8.00pm.
LOCATION
Holden Street Neighbourhood House is at Holden Street in North Fitzroy.
