Position Overview:
We are currently looking for a highly skilled Program Manager, Supply Chain to oversee and manage our supply chain operations in Australia. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset to build our supply chain processes in Australia. Candidates should have a strong background in fulfillment operations, account management and event coordination.
In this multifaceted role, you will act as the crucial conduit among Stanley Sales/Business Development, Customers, and our third-party logistics (3PL) partners. Your mission will be to ensure the seamless execution of sales orders, fostering robust relationships with both internal teams and external collaborators. This position requires superior interpersonal and problem-solving skills, alongside the capacity to design and implement scalable supply chain operations. Your talent for event coordination will be central to harmonizing the moving parts of our supply chain, ensuring smooth, efficient processes that support our growth and customer satisfaction objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- 3PL Management: Oversee and manage the performance of our third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure they meet the service level agreements and cost targets at goal level.
Oversees communications, reporting, and escalations to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly. Conduct regular reviews with account stakeholders to maintain alignment on near-term requirements and solutions.
- Transportation: Develop and implement strategies for domestic and international transportation to optimize delivery times, reduce costs, and improve reliability. Monitor industry trends and adapt transportation strategies accordingly.
Provide guidance and engage in communication within export/import domains, encompassing Sales, Logistics, Planning, Engineering, Customs, Brokers, and Freight Forwarders.
- Inventory Management: Develop and maintain effective inventory management to ensure accuracy and optimize inventory levels, minimizing overstock and outages. Work closely with procurement and sales departments to forecast demand and plan supply accordingly.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with all departments, including sales, procurement, and finance, to ensure the supply chain supports company goals and customer needs. Including cross functional work with both Seattle and Shanghai office in organizing inbound shipments, inbound reporting, and demand planning. Work closely with all B2B partners to make sure all logistic needs are met for all outbound, this includes close collaboration with 3PL and other external partners such as SPS.
About You:
To excel in this role, you should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of supply chain and warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of professional Supply Chain Management experience, at least 3 of which have been in a fulfillment/distribution leadership role.
- Proven record of accomplishment of successful account management within a B2B and DTC environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including planning, procurement, and logistics.
- Demonstrated capability in negotiation and networking.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
