This multi-national group operates facilities throughout Australia, Hong Kong and mainland China. Pallion designs, manufactures and distributes precious metal products and related services. Pallion entities offer the following services: Bullion; Refining and Minting; Casting and Jewellery; Fabricated Metals; Findings and Vaulting.

You will be responsible for providing 'First Class' customer service to all customers who visit or contact us by being energetic, attentive, and welcoming whilst maintaining an excellent level of product knowledge and service.

About the role:

  • Determining the objectives and constraints of the design brief by consulting with clients and stakeholders.
  • Produce CAD drawings based on the clients brief then prepare the design files for the production team.
  • Actively determine key elements of the design brief for individual clients daily, including both objectives and constraints of the design to ensure the CAD drawing meets the customers’ needs but is able to be produced effectively.
  • Assistance with quality control of CAD draws. Ensuring that the final draw meets industry standards and customer standards for finishing.
  • Assistance with software and technology alongside the Design & Print Manager. Utilise design software’s and become expert in the field to meet growing needs of the customer base.
  • Assist with preparing prototypes and samples.
  • Review and update the CAD training manual for the team. Undertake continuous review and research to ensure creations are functional, commercial and aesthetic in nature.

About you:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience retail / sales environment.
  • Jewellery experience preferred.
  • Intermediate Microsoft office skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and resolve customer queries.
  • A positive 'can do' attitude, and a team player.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Conflict resolution skills, resolving client invoicing and purchasing queries.
