Description:
Eltham Optical is looking for a part time experienced Optical Assistant or Dispenser to join their busy practice in the heart of Eltham.
About the role:
- Three days a week - Monday 9am-5:30pm, Friday 12pm-5:30pm and Saturday 9am-12:30pm.
- Monday you may be required to work at a different store, within 13km from Eltham
- Assist patients in the selection of optical frames tailored to their wants and needs
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and presentation
- Provide outstanding customer care
Skills and Experience:
Knowing the basics of dispensing will support you in this role, and to support continued growth, training will be provided.
- Experience with multifocal lenses, interpreting prescriptions and a strong understanding of lens properties and types.
- Ability to check incoming jobs and fitting lenses
- Familiar with Sunix software
- Exceptional communication skills and an ability to build relationships with customers
- Greeting customers and providing great retail service
- Work independently and alongside our passionate team
