Description
Under the direction of the General Manager, your duties will include:
- Providing leadership, technical guidance, and support to on-site teams and subcontractors
- Coordinating project tasks to meet client expectations
- Performing site quality assurance audits and promptly resolving any issues
- Identifying resource needs and ensuring proper maintenance of assets
- Facilitating effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders
- Engaging in toolbox meetings and aiding in staff training and orientation
- Assisting in the estimation of minor works and ensuring adherence to quality standards
- Upholding high standards of customer service and compliance with WHSE policies
- Actively participating in health and safety meetings
- Executing general maintenance field work as needed
- Promptly reporting and addressing incidents as per company protocols
- Engaging in ongoing WHS training and education opportunities
Profile
To ensure your success in this role, our client anticipates that the ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Qualification and experience in carpentry or electrical trades, coupled with proficiency in facilities maintenance
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a drive to nurture and inspire teams
- Exceptional verbal and written communication aptitude
- A proactive problem-solving mindset with a sharp eye for detail
- Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced settings and adept at managing shifting priorities
- Dedication to continuous personal and professional development, embodying a growth-oriented mindset.
Due to the background checks required for this role, candidates must hold full working rights in Australia, have the ability to pass a national police check and full pre-employment medical, be able to provide proof of COVID vaccination (minimum of 2 doses), and be able to provide two professional references.

We offer a competitive base salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000, plus superannuation contributions.
