What's on offer?
- Excellent hourly rate of $52+ per hour
- Day Shift - Monday to Friday 6:30am to 3:27pm
- 9 days per fortnight
- Immediate start
- Dandenong location
- Casual on-going work

Your daily duties will consist of:
- Constructing framework sections in metal and other materials using shaping machines and cutting and welding equipment
- Bolting, screwing, riveting and welding sections together to form complete frameworks
- Cutting and shaping panels of sheet metal, aluminium and reinforced plastic and attaching to frameworks using hand and power tools
- Modifying assembly line vehicles to special requirements
- Preparing new vehicle trim work according to drawings and sketches, and removing old coverings and fittings from vehicles and taking new measurements
- Selecting and cutting pieces of fabric, vinyl and leather and sewing pieces together using heavy-duty sewing machines
- Installing internal trim in vehicles such as lining, floor coverings and armrests
- Attaching door trims, rubber seals, locks and handles
- Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements
- Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines
To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate the following:
- MUST have 2+ years TIG and MIG Experience
- Previous exposure and experience in a vehicle manufacturing environment will be highly regarded
- Ability to undergo a full medical assessment prior to commencement
- Punctual, reliable, and good work ethic
- Great attention to detail
