You will have a proven track record of success in a highly people focused role, with capability of effectively leading a diverse team, ideally possess relevant tertiary qualifications, and have outstanding communication skills at all levels.
In your new role as General Manager - Corporate , you will be responsible for the following direct reports and portfolios:
- Manager Property and Procurement (Property, Plant & Fleet Management and Procurement & Contracts)
- Manager People and Safety (Work Health & Safety, Volunteer Management, Human Resources and Organisational Development)
- Executive Manager Office of the CEO (Strategy, Governance, Communications, Internal Audit, Council Member Support, Risk Management and Community Engagement)
- Executive Assistant

About your new work environment
The Alexandrina Council area comprises of 182,684 hectares. It extends from the north-western side of Lake Alexandrina to the Murray Mouth and the western end of the Coorong - taking in river communities of Langhorne Creek, Milang, Clayton Bay, Goolwa, and Hindmarsh Island. It extends along the south coast to Middleton, Port Elliot and inland to Mount Compass and Strathalbyn.
