About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Creative Producer Public Art to develop and deliver a public art program in collaboration with cross-functional teams within Council as part of City revitalisation activities in accordance with organisational Strategies, the Delivery Program and ongoing community and stakeholder engagement.

In this position you will:

  • Adhere to requirements contained in relevant legislation, standards, codes of practice when undertaking tasks/activities and to advise the Supervisor/Manager when they become aware of any changes to these.
  • Develop and enhance relationships with key stakeholders including artists, key government agencies, landowners, businesses, the community, and other interest groups.
  • Positively promote Campbelltown and facilitate a good perception of the City and the organisation by the community and stakeholders by embedding Campbelltown’s brand personality in all planning actions and communication.


The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a contemporary arts field and /or relevant job-related experience.
  • Experience in project management including development and delivery of arts projects including public art and community engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience working with and managing positive relationships with diverse stakeholders (internal and external) on complex and large-scale projects.
  • Demonstrated experience working with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience in local government, the public sector, or in an arts/community organisation.
  • Proven ability to deliver significant, cross-functional programs projects, or strategies on time and on budget, managing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) for diverse audiences, including development of strategic documents.
  • Demonstrated high level application of analytical, creative thinking and problem-solving skills in a complex, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Highly developed planning, organisation and prioritisation skills, including the ability to meet tight deadlines and balance competing priorities.
