Description:
Our client is a prominent and relatively small federal government agency.
Based in Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra this 6 months initial contract will suit an experienced Business Analyst with experience in end to end projects, including new business initiatives, business process, workflow planning and obviously, business requirements gathering in hybrid, ideal government environments.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders and working within their Technology and Strategy group, you will be working on a number of upcoming initiatives across Corporate and Technology/Digital.
Working with the Program Managers and relevant business areas, you will be assisting with the initiation of new projects through establishing initial requirements, eliciting, analysing and documenting business and functional requirements for systems and services.
The role will see you:
- Elicit, analysis and gather business requirements and functional requirements on the development of a shared services catalogue and associated SLAs and/or new Call Centre initiatives
- Document and analyse "as is/to be" processes and workflows.
- Work closely with the busyness as a Technology and Strategy liaison to ensure business needs are captured, understood and reflected in the design and rollout of new solutions, processes and systems
- For technology focused projects, act as a technology evangelist, assisting with Testing and QA
You will bring to the role:
- Australian Citizenship and ability to gain Baseline Security Clearance
- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst working on projects relating to shared services catalogue and relevant SLAs and or call centre and form development initiatives
- Strong track record of stakeholder engagement and management
- Experience with digital tools including Jira, Confluence or Miro
- Strong understanding of IT Operations, application and web development, user experience and product management
- Understanding of Government organisations
- The ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborative team player, along with excellent communication skills
This is an initial 6 months contract likely to extend.
