Our client, is seeking experienced machinists for their manufacturing facility in Canning Vale. This workshop-based role will focus on successfully performing machine operations using manual and semi-automated machines to meet customer specifications.Job tasks and responsibilities
- Set up, clean and operate machines as per job specification
- Efficiently and accurately process components with minimal direction
- Performs set ups with minimal supervision.
- 7am - 3pm + overtime
- $50-60/hour
- Proven machinist experience
- Trade qualifications as a machinist
- Operate a machine manually and semi-automatic
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and as a member of a small team
- Appreciation, knowledge and commitment to Industrial Health & Safety requirements
- High level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- GCode Programming experience is a plus
- Experience in manufacturing valves would be ideal
