Our client, located in Balcatta, is a family owned and operated building materials supplier with a proven record of the best service in the business using quality materials at competitive pricing. They aim to stand above their competition by providing their customers with exceptional service, quality products/systems and unparalleled customer support. They are seeking to fill a Customer Service position on the Trade Counter servicing builders, tradies, home renovators & anyone needing quality building supplies.
The Opportunity.
The Customer Service position duties include
- Handling over-the-counter or telephone, retail trade sales
- Providing customer quotes, order status updates, product support to customers
- Trade counter sales and sales order processing
- Providing exceptional service
- Product quoting and special orders for Trade Customers
- Contribute to maintaining the store's profile and presentation
- Managing EFTPOS, cash & account sales transactions
Ideally you will have
- Previous customer service or trade counter sales experience or similar - desirable
- knowledge of fibre cement or plasterboard products, hardware, timber and/or composite products – desirable
- Experience with Accrivia CRM system or similar - desirable
- EFTPOS/cash sales experience
- strong sales focus with excellent phone manner
- Driver’s license
- Forklift ticket – desirable but training can be provided
- Flexibility to work occasional Saturday shifts to cover staff leave
Friendly, family-based based company
A competitive salary + Super + an opportunity to share in the monthly sales bonus scheme.
Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or 7:30 – 4:00 pm
One Saturday shift every 6 weeks on a rotational basis.
Full product & CRM system training is provided
Opportunity to progress within the company

Flexibility with work hours to meet family commitments can be negotiated.
