What you’ll be doing
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Active Directory Engineer to administer, support and manage existing AD infrastructure deployments & functions.
With the ability to work in a demanding environment with an enthusiastic sense of customer support, you will need to communicate and coordinate with clients as well as other technology groups in a complex and highly governed environment. This support will involve remote assistance over the phone and ad-hoc onsite visits when required and participate in an on-call roster for after-hours support. Your role will also involve:
• Designing, implementing, and administering active directory infrastructure, as well as evaluating new technologies and making/implementing recommendations to improve operational efficiencies.
• Maintaining and managing active directory permissions and security.
• Implementation of RBAC
• Troubleshooting active directory-related issues.
• Integrating active directory SSO authentication for application access.
• Creating and managing group policies.
• Maintaining and managing active directory backups and recovery.
• Producing and maintaining technical system documentation.
• Deploying solutions as part of projects or initiatives according to organisation standards.

• Australian Citizen with NV1 Security Clearance or ability to obtain one

What will make you successful in this role?
• Experience with documentation including Design, as built, SOPs, Change control etc.
• Ability to trouble shoot, conduct root cause analysis and remediation activities
• Working knowledge of standard ITIL process, Incident, Change, Problem and configuration management
• Proficiency in reviewing and updating OU structure in different environments
• Knowledge of Group Policy Objects (GPO) design and implementation.
• Experience with service account permissions both on prem and cloud
• Experience in RBAC implementation via AD
• MS Entra ( Azure AD)
• ADFS
• SAML
• MS SSO
• Enterprise PKI / certificate services
• AWS with On-Prem Active directory
• DNS\DHCP etc
• Some Identity management knowledge
