Reporting to and under the direction of the Assistant Business Manager Monkey Mia:

  • Disseminates information and provides direction and interpretation to the visiting public relating to Monkey Mia Reserve.

  • Assists and supports the daily operations of the Monkey Mia visitor experience

At Level 2.3 the employee is competent to undertake the role of a Level 2.2 (which includes the role of a host, guide, revenue collection or supervised marketing/retail assistant) and in addition is competent and undertakes the role of marketing and/or retail duties.

Selection Criteria

Applicants should address the following three (3) criteria, including where possible the desirable criteria. These should be addressed in no more than a total of two (2) pages.

  • Experience in working in a customer service environment and ability to participate in activities related to promoting a natural land based tourism experience.

  • Experience in information dissemination and money handling. (Desirable)

  • Knowledge of the natural environment and familiarity with Monkey Mia Reserve. (Desirable)

Note: The successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current (issue date not older than 6 months) and satisfactory National Police Check and a current Working With Children Check card prior to commencement.
