Senior Accounts Payable Officer

Your new company

Our client, a large manufacturer based centrally in Adelaide, is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join their busy team.

Your new role

Your new role will see you:

• Processing invoices (including foreign currency)
• Arranging invoices authorisations
• Matching documents to invoices
• Generating payment proposal files
• Arranging payments (EFT, Direct, Cheques)
• Manage suppliers and staff queries
• Processing of credit claims
• Identifying issues which require further classification
• Monthly reconciliations of invoices and accounts to ledger and statement
• Assist in the general guidance and supervision of AP staff, as requested

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in the role, you will have excellent attention to detail whilst managing high-volume invoice processing, and you will be analytical with exceptional problem-solving and time management skills. Along with experience in:

• Processing invoices, general ledger, three-way matching and foreign currency
• Payments - EFT / cheque / direct / foreign currency
• Experience in integrated ERP systems
• Intermediate to Advance Microsoft Office skills
