Our clients are currently seeking a Finance Officer to join their dynamic team. Located in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide, this organisation is governed by local government and undertakes significant environmental, social, and economic beneficial roles.They are currently in need of an experienced Finance Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, analysing financial data, and preparing reports.
Your new role
- Process end-to-end payroll accurately and timely for all staff.
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations within the company such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
- Undertake all Accounts Receivable (AR) duties including raising and distribution of invoices and statements, debt collection, reconciliations, reporting etc.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Work closely with the financial management team to create budgets and financial forecasts.
- Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience of processing payrolls and associated functions for 40+ staff.
- General knowledge of GST legislation and processes.
- High level of numeracy and accuracy, with attention to detail.
- A quick learner and has sound time management skills.
- The ability to work independently within an office environment.
