What's on offer?
We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Program Accountant for our growing program of works with SA Water, within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business in Adelaide. In this role you'll be responsible for:

Coordination of weekly and monthly reporting of project financial performance including cost to date forecast, cost to complete forecast, revenue and forecast margin

Preparation and ongoing maintenance of program resource and plant costing rates and fixed-asset register

Manage compliance with Head Contract financial accounting processes and procedures

Lead project and program financial auditing with internal stakeholders, client and external auditors and implement actions arising from audit findings

Preparation, reconciliation and maintenance of financial processes and procedures including ongoing training of personnel

Provide leadership and support to commercial and project delivery teams in administration of program financial requirements.
How you'll connect to the role:

Tertiary qualification in Engineering/Accounting or similar and a minimum 5 years' experience in accounting / contract administration

Advanced skills with Microsoft Office and experience with JDE software (advantageous), but not essential

Experience in ensuring costs control is managed to meet Client & internal requirements

Ability to maintain ongoing review of the project status & advise where corrective actions are required

Demonstrable experience in developing and maintaining interactions and relationships with internal and external key stakeholders

Have a high level of personal motivation and commercial acumen
