You’ll be working for an internationally recognised Australian company. This organisation is a market leader for the construction and building maintenance sector. They are based in the Southside of Brisbane. Due to organisation changes, an exciting new vacancy has opened for an experienced Business Support Officer to join their well-established team. The role will start off as a temporary 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
Your new role
- You will be responsible for the entry of Field Staff timesheets, labour costs and leave
- Handling various contracts and quote creations
- Drafting reports, letters, memos and documentation when required
- Providing support for given teams within the organisation
- Interpreting and maintaining reports
- Creating and processing work orders
- Scheduling maintenance staff
- Data Entry
- Managing a busy and diverse agenda
- Organising meetings and taking minutes
What you'll need to succeed
- You are a confident person who has excellent interpersonal communication skills
- You will be able to work under pressure in a very quick and efficient environment
- You are a team player and collaborative worker
- Previous experience within the construction/building maintenance industry
- Previous experience with contracts and quotes is essential
- Ability to organise and manage busy agendas
- Skilled in using excel to run reports and interpret information
- Available to start immediately
