They will manage day to day tasks and ensure smooth running of production while adhering to safety and quality standards. Job DescriptionWe are looking for people who work best in a hands-on role , enjoy working as part of a diverse team but have the capacity to also work autonomously. We have the below shift available permanent full time Monday to Friday:
- Morning Shift - 5.54am to 2pm or 7.44am to 3.50pm
What will you be doing?
Assembly (5.54am to 2pm):
- Assembly Line – involves working on a line with repetitive actions and moving parts; portioning components onto meal trays
- Assembly Line Fillers - running of food to assembly lines ensuring product is continuously available; lifting, pushing and pulling of racks and boxes up to 15kgs
Packing (7.44am to 3.50pm):
- Packing Lines - inspection and packing of finished meals into cartons
- Labelling of cartons - codes, dates, etc
- Control of outgoing products
- Rotation work in freezer (must be able to work in freezer for 1 hour per day)
- Cleaning of floors, walls, conveyors, machinery, etc
- Sanitizing of machinery and all food production equipment to the highest standard
- Deliver exceptional quality and results each shift
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Have the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Able to work in cooler environments – our factory is around 8 degrees Celsius
- The ability to work under pressure and to strict time frames and quality standards
- Have a great eye for detail and take pride in your work and your team
- You enjoy doing physical and repetitive work and like to know what your work is every day
- Whilst not essential previous experience in a 24 hour FMCG environment working as a cleaner would be advantageous.
