Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Interpret and define relevant standards for application across service centres
- Conduct fault finding electrical/mechanical testing rotating equipment.
- Provide Quality Assurance inspection for overhauled rotating equipment
- Troubleshoot issues with electro-mechanical rotating machines in service centre and on-site.
- Root cause analysis (RCA) of issues, and recommendations of repair and upgrades.
- Develop technical report and proposal, and support cost estimation
- Support Service Centres with overhaul and asset maintenance projects.
- Support quality team conducing internal audits and preparing for external audits.
- Initiate and participate in the planning and development of engineering policies and procedures.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with Professional Engineering Registration
- 10+ years technical experience with electrical rotating equipment services
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Experience conducting and facilitating Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations
- A technical background in engineering preferably in power generation heavy industry
- Machine diagnostics (electrical testing/vibration analysis) is a plus
