As Director of Monetization and Game Economy, you will be responsible for working directly with the Product Team, Game Design, Data, and Marketing Teams to develop, implement, measure, analyze and report on all monetization features and token designs. This is a remote position that can be done from anywhere in the world. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and lead the development of monetization strategy and goal setting across our portfolio of games.
- Plan and research monetization initiatives and features that will have an impact on revenue generation.
- Design and implement NFT sales on our Marketplace.
- Supervise and be responsible for secondary trading activity.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product Design, and other cross-functional teams to execute monetization initiatives.
- Develop and maintain the monetization feature pipeline and promotions calendar.
- Oversee the testing, analysis, and reporting of all monetization initiatives.
- Design and manage the game economies.
- 5+ years of experience in monetization or product management role on a game team or similar experience.
- BA/BS degree in Economics, Math, Computer Science, Finance, or other quantitative fields.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply business strategy to data analysis and recommendations.
- Experience conducting bottom-up revenue projections for MMOs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and visual reporting skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Must love games!
- Experience with blockchain economies.
- Experience with free-to-play games.
- Experience working with blockchain gaming pioneers at a leading NFT gaming company.
- Fully remote work, with a yearly company offsite (once travel becomes feasible).
- Experience working with gaming veterans of game titles with gross aggregate revenue of well over $10B USD.
- Flexible PTO with local/national holidays, per region.
- Experience creating a new IP with franchise potential.
